Healthcare is an exceptionaly dynamic and valuable field in which knowledge, technology and the responsibility of touching human lives come together. Today, rapid changes in the healthcare sector, digital health applications, artificial intelligence-supported systems and emerging technologies are increasing the need for well-equipped, productive and people-oriented healthcare professionals who adhere to ethical values and are prepared for digital transformation in healthcare.
As the Vocational School of Health Services, our primary objective is not only to provide professional knowledge and skills, but also to educate individuals who adhere to ethical values, question established practices, develop solutions, think analyticaly and criticaly, adopt a scientific approach, use technology effectively and embrace lifelong learning as a guiding principle. We attach great importance to preparing our students for the future as healthcare professionals who are responsive to society’s needs, possess a strong sense of responsibility and are capable of making a meaningful difference in their fields.
Practice-based learning lies at the centre of our educational approach. Through laboratory studies, field practices and collaborations with the sector, we support our students in transforming their theoretical knowledge into professional experience. Through the strong partnerships we have developed with organisations in healthcare and other sectors, we aim to help our students begin their professional careers with greater competence, awareness and self-confidence.
At the same time, creating a quality-oriented, innovative and continuously developing educational environment is among our priorities. We do not regard internationalisation as being limited to student mobility; instead, we consider it an essential part of educating individuals who can interact with different cultures, adopt universal quality standards and closely follow global developments in healthcare.
With an approach that supports research, project development and social contribution activities, we place great importance on encouraging the scientific productivity of both our students and academic staff. We believe that individuals who produce knowledge, participate in research activities, remain open to innovation and contribute to society will play an important role in shaping the healthcare services of the future.
