Preschool education is described as the magic years of life. It is the period when the child's development is the fastest and most critical. The aim of pre-school education is to maximize and strengthen the development of children in their own conditions. Child Development Program is a two-year and four-term associate degree program. Students graduate from this programme equipped with knowledge about preparing programs suitable for the developmental levels of children, making environmental arrangements suitable for children, following the development of the child in different areas and making new arrangements; cooperating with families, people serving in the field of child development, institutions and organizations, and raising awareness of the society on these issues. Graduates meet the needs of the sector as teacher assistants in pre-school and private education institutions.
Fields of Employment after Graduation
Graduates are employed in pre-school education institutions such as kindergartens, -rehabilitation centers, children's clubs, private education institutions, girls' technical high schools, vocational high schools, primary schools, public and private institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education.
